Found your LED Kit Looks great. Have you ever thought of something that can control a Digital (based on the WS2812 IC) LED strip. A device that would off load all the LED addressing. As the DXM address scheme of 512 channels can not handle the 300 LED on a 3 meter LED strip.

It would be great to have 8 channels of data sent to the device and the device figures out how to control the 300 LED. In a straight DMX scheme this would take hundreds of channels to control the 300 LEDs. The 8 channels would work as follows:

Channel 1 = Red
Channel 2 = green
Channel 3 = Blue
Channel 4 = Chase sequence (left to right, Right to left, center to outside, Outside to center,....
Channel 5 = Speed of chase
Channel 6 = Dimming
Channel 7 = Dimming speed
Channel 8 = User option/custom effects
.
